Sunday the 7th April seen the start of the 2024 Society ⛳️ Season, with new Captain Anthony Campbell at the helm, 32 golfers braved the slightly 😜 blustery conditions at Ardglass Golf Club, although conditions were extremely tough some superb scores were returned, none more so than Garry "Tarmac" Sands with a super score of 40 points, the practice at Seapoint during the week working wonders, runner-up on his reappearance after 2 seasons away, and great to have him back, was Michael "the shirt" McGivern, only just missing out on top spot with 39 points.

Winner of the low section with 37 points was Paul Greenan and winner of the high section just missing out on the podium was Gavin Quinn with 38 points.

Front 9 winner with 18 points was Rusty McCarthy and back 9 winner with 22 points was Peter Dunne.

Nearest the pin on the 5th hole was Raymond Fegan and 12th hole was Micheal McAvoy.

Only 1 "two" was recorded on the day and taking home the kitty of £64 was Raymond Fegan.
