The visitors got of to a terrific start, hitting 2.1 in the opening 5 mins.

Our defence was starting to get to grips with the game now, with Daniel Turley, Joesph Linden, Jonathan Greenan and Jack ferguson showing great strength and courage.
A Ianis Sandulac point and Archie McDaniel goal left Saval trailing 2.4 to 1.4 at the break.
Tommy Heaney was finding Luke O’Neil, Frankie Farrelly and Mattie McCorry with the kickouts as Saval started Strongly in the second half. James O’Prey and Christy McClorey showed well up front with James getting a 3 pointer and Ianis hitting 0.2.
A trio of points from An Riocht left it tight in the closing 10 minutes.
Cailum Mckernan hit a wonderful 20 yard shot which unfortunately belted of the post. The introduction of Ryan Hillen and Daragh McDaniel added much needed fresh legs but the Kingdom men went on to score a couple of late points to run out winners in what was an epic battle.
Our lads can be very proud with how they played after a disastrous start and with a bit more luck in front of goal they would have came away with a win!

Saval 2.6
AnRiocht 2.10
