Sunday 12th March, seen Saval U-16 Girls get their League campaign off to a winning start, by beating a strong side from neighbours Glenn.

In what was a very keenly fought contest, in miserable conditions, both sets of players put on a great range of skills, playing against a strong breeze in the 1st half, Saval went in 5 points to the good, but a flurry of scores from the Glenn girls at the start of the 2nd half seen them take the lead by 2 points.

A very spirited last 15 minutes with some outstanding defending and superb scores, seen Saval over the line in a closely fought contest.

Well done to both teams for a brilliant game of football, with a lot of skills on display, Saval would like to wish Glenn all the best for the rest of the upcoming season.
