Saturday the 15th April, seen the Society head off to Trim Co Meath for the 2nd Outing of the year, to play the wonderful Knightsbrook Golf Club, 34 golfers made the journey south, although 1 man couldn't make it, due to unconfirmed reports, that Mickey Redmond tore his hamstring playing for Saval Seniors on Friday night.

Off the 34 that did take to the splendid fairways, out on top of the pile was Tommy Rocket Redmond, with a superb return of 45 points, runner-up and convinced he had it won and had talked his round through with the club pro was the Doc Richard Hamilton.

Low section winner with 40 points was Gerry Quinn, high section winner with 41 points was Kieran Madine, front 9 winner with a superb 23 points was Dangerous Dave O'Sullivan, the digger being hit along the back 9 confirms the name, back 9 winner with 22 points was Patrick Rusty McCarthy.

Nearest the pin on the 3rd hole was Raymond Fegan and nearest the pin on the 18th hole was Conor McConville.

Congratulations to all the winners, next outing is Sunday 21st May, at Spa Golf Club Ballynahinch (if someone has a spare Sat Nav could you drop it off at Garrett Hughes House, as he gets lost going past Rathfriland).
