Inspiration does exist but it must find you looking for it. Last Friday evening the Green Army faced a very determined Burren team who were intent on ending Savals unbeaten league campaign. This was our very last game of the league and the young Saval heroes were not found wanting. They however came under severe pressure and we knew this was their opportunity to show why they are champions. Real champions are people who get up when you think they can’t. Carl yung said Those who look outside dream but those who look inside awaken. Let me assure you our girls looked inside and as a consequence they delivered a masterclass in footballing genius and steely determination. We as coaches didn’t have to say much because they wanted this for themselves. Adults always ask children what they want to become when they grow up because they are looking for ideas themselves.
