For the Saval supporters who graced Nan Sands park last night, what an evening they had.

They all would have woke up this morning with sore necks with having to keep

turning to keep an eye on both pitches.

On the top pitch the Saval U13 Gaels were hosting Belfast Giants Carryduff and on the bottom field the Ogs welcomed Attical Gaels .

Saval were underdogs for both games. With a lot of lads on holidays and a few injuries, we had two teams made up of lads from p6 to 2nd year.

With both teams behind at half time, a few wise words and encouragement at the break from the management spurred both teams on to display fine skill and a never say die attitude to both run out eventual winners against two very strong teams.

Both teams continue their championship campaigns in the coming weeks.
